The Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies program and The Center for Korean Studies are hosting a very special panel on how global forces like modernization and capitalism in South Korea can be viewed through the lens of literature, film, and state-sponsored art!

The panelists involved include Professor Youngju Ryu from the University of Michigan’s Korean Studies program, Jisung Kim from UC Berkeley’s Film Studies program, and Yuri Chang from SUNY Binghamton.
