Upcoming Rhythms and Sounds events!
Rhythms and Sounds, an arts series highlighting local Asian and Pacific Islander performers through a monthly open mic and a monthly artist workshop, will be hosted by the Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) this month!
The first open mic will take place on TODAY, Thursday, February 20th between 6:00pm and 7:30pm at OACC. The first artist workshop will focus on spoken word poetry and will take place on Wednesday, February 26th between 6:00pm and 7:30pm at OACC.
Bring friends, family, and loved ones for two nights full of moving and inspirational performances from the Bay Area’s finest, along with an opportunity to express your actions and experiences through the art of slam poetry.
