Join us for a presentation by Don Mar and Paul Ong on their analysis of the economic impacts of Covid 19 on Asian American workers, businesses and communities. The research draws on several data sources to generate timely insights into the patterns, magnitude and causes. The findings reveal a major shift in the material position of Asian Americans in the nation’s racial system, driven in part by the politically motivated xenophobic attacks that creates a false public perception linking Asian Americans to the pandemic.
