Marilyn Chin

On March 2, Chinese American writer Marilyn Chin, who recently published Revenge of the Mooncake Vixen: A Manifesto in 41 Tales, read from and talked about the book in Professor Sau-ling Wong’s Asian American Short Story class. Marilyn Chin also conducted a creative writing workshop for Asian American and Ethnic Studies graduate students. The Asian American Studies Program and a grant from the Committee on Teaching, Office of Educational Development, supported the former event. The latter event was co-sponsored and co-funded by the Asian American Studies Program, the Asian Pacific American Studies Townsend Working Group, and the Asian Cultural Studies Townsend Working Group.
