UCLA Urban Planning Diversity Recruitment Event (Dec. 6)
The Department of Urban Planning in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs trains practitioners for leadership roles in the planning profession. Its students work to build prosperous, sustainable and equitable communities through linking knowledge and action in one or more areas of specialization—community economic development and housing, design and development, environmental analysis and policy, regional and international development, and transportation policy and planning.
A diverse student body is essential to its mission. As part of its ongoing effort to diversify its applicant pool and the planning field as a whole, the Department of Urban Planning and the Planners of Color for Social Equity at the UCLA Luskin School announce an upcoming event for graduate applicants. Its Diversity Recruitment Day will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 9:30am to 4:00 pm in 2355 Public Affairs Building on the UCLA campus. Registration is required and free.
The Diversity Recruitment Day hopes to attract underrepresented minorities and students of diverse backgrounds. Details are described below.
