Call for Volunteers: Women’s Leadership Intensive 2015
The first ever Women’s Leadership Intensive (WLI) will launch in August 2015 on the UC Berkeley Campus. This is a pilot leadership program for women identified[*] students. The inaugural year will include knowledge sharing, strategizing, skill building and mentorship in a supportive and rejuvenating environment. The goal is to provide a space for sharpening leadership and program management skills, developing multicultural competency in a diverse collegiate environment, identify the impact various oppressions have on leadership styles, and how to make connections with women leaders in the academy. WLI aims to develop practical strategies to address day-to-day challenges and increased confidence and self-esteem among women leaders.
