Ethnic Studies PhD alum Daniel K. Woo named Helen Zia Distinguished Lecturer and Deputy Director of the Asian American Studies Program & Center

Daniel Woo has been named the inaugural Helen Zia Distinguished Lecturer and the Deputy Director of the Asian American Studies Program at Hunter College. Woo, who earned his doctorate in Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley, worked with ES Professors Emeriti Elaine Kim and Michael Omi, as well as Professor Waldo Martin from History.
