Kay Kim Richards
Kay Kim Richards taught Korean language in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures for more than 25 years and co-authored the basic text for Korean language instruction. She also translated Theresa Hak Kyung Cha’s DICTEE into Korean as well as many Korean literary works into English. She recently published a book of her own poetry. She is a recipient of several prizes and awards, including the International PEN Korea Award in 2006 and a National Medal of Honor from Korea in 2008.
