International Hotel Manilatown Center Photography Exhibit and Panel Discussion

International Hotel Manilatown Center is hosting a photography exhibit by James Sobredo: “Filipino Transnational Migration: Images & Stories from Aklan, Manila & Hong Kong”.

Sobred, who received his PhD in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley, will also be part of a panel discussion with Catherine Ceniza Choy, Chair & Professor in the Department of Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley, and Penelope Flores, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Education at San Francisco State University.

They will be discussing Filipino & Asian Global Migrations this SATURDAY, November 16th from 3-6 PM at International Hotel Manilatown Center. (868 Kearny Street @ Jackson in Downtown San Francisco)
